Flower and Nature Excursions with Flowers of Crete

Over several years, we have been photographing and painting the wild flowers of Crete. Our aim has always been to bring the rich diversity of plant life on the island to a wider audience, and to this end we have developed a range of walks and outings to suit all interests and abilities. Whether you would prefer a short walk from the car or a day long hike over rough terrain, we can take you to find rare and beautiful wild flowers, whatever the season.

This year it will be possible to book Julia for trips from Rethymnon, and Hania.  These trips will be individually tailored and can be booked for three to eight passengers.  Please enquire directly by e-mailing julia@flowersofcrete.info.

As a member of the international organisation PlantaEuropa, Flowers of Crete is dedicated to the preservation of these flowers and their environment and our trips are restricted to a maximum of six passengers, unless otherwise agreed.


As you can imagine our busiest time is during the orchid season, but not everyone realises that this stretches from the end of January well into June, depending, of course on winter weather conditions.
